Elisa of Edo

There is a legend that in 1803 during the Edo period, a mysterious disk-like “hollow boat” and a woman carrying a white box washed ashore off the coast of Ibaraki, and there are still pictures depicting the disk and the woman. At the time, Japan was in a state of isolation, and entry of foreigners into the country was strictly restricted. This is the story of the mysterious woman who appeared from the disk and Gen, a boy from the village who meets her there.
